Assan Foods was established in 1998, with a very modern tomato paste plant in Balıkesir, near Susurluk province with headquarters based in Istanbul, Turkey. Around US$ 40 mio industrial investment has been done to sustain state of the art technology. Assan Foods makes traceable and caring harvest, using hybrid (GMO free) seeds and control the farming of tomatoes in line with agricultural requirements. Tomatoes are handpicked and processed with utmost delicacy for a superior result. The product varieties range from tomato paste to ketchup, from pasta sauces to meat sauces. The factory is operating with quality control management system and holds HACCP, ISO 9001:2008 and BRC certificates.
