A&D Pharma Holdings

A&D Pharma Holdings is a large Romanian pharmaceutical group which was established in 1994, providing private labels as well as brands. It is the only Romanian business which was listed on the London Stock Exchange. A&D Pharma Holdings is owned by Dr. Max Group. 

The group operates through the following companies: 

• Sensiblu: with more than 2,500,000 customers, Sensiblu works with more than 3000 pharmacies and pharmaceutical specialists
• Mediplus: It was initially the distribution line of the pharmaceutical company and is now on the verge to become a complete portfolio vendor.
• Dr. Max: a chain of pharmacies

Moreover, the company and its subsidiaries handle import, sale, marketing, retail and wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical products nationwide.

In 2019, the firm reached a turnover of € 1 billion. A&D Pharma Holdings employs around 5000 people. 

Since 2002, A&D Pharma Holdings has been operating the Sensitive Foundation which works for the welfare of disadvantaged communities. The foundation works on programmes such as the Blue House programme for victims of domestic violence and a mobile medical van offering health services to isolated places in the Apuseni Mountains.
