AIBĖ is the largest retail alliance in Lithuania and Latvia, established in 1999. The company operates as a cooperative network uniting more than 400 independent retailers and entrepreneurs who manage over 1,400 stores across both countries, with over 850 locations in Lithuania alone.

As a buying alliance, AIBĖ provides comprehensive support to its member retailers through centralized supply chain management, favorable commercial terms for goods procurement, shared marketing and communication strategies, IT solutions, and financial services. Members benefit from a convenient ordering system available via internet and phone, access to a centralized product information database, and automated store management solutions including self-service tills.

The alliance operates a modern logistics infrastructure anchored by a 16,320 m² warehouse facility located in Kaunas district, equipped with temperature-controlled storage areas. This distribution center supplies approximately 800 AIBĖ stores and other retail outlets throughout Lithuania, handling diverse product categories from long-shelf-life goods such as cereals, pasta, and household chemicals to fresh dairy, meat, fruits, and vegetables with dedicated delivery timelines of 24-48 hours.

AIBĖ's product portfolio encompasses a comprehensive range of food and beverage categories including fresh produce, dairy products, meat and fish, confectionery, frozen foods, organic and health products, ethnic foods, beverages, pet food, and household essentials. The alliance emphasizes quality, customer satisfaction, and competitive pricing while maintaining commitment to sustainable practices and community engagement.

In 2022, the combined turnover of AIBĖ's Lithuanian and Latvian operations reached approximately €700 million. The company has invested significantly in digital transformation, with most member stores utilizing electronic data interchange (EDI) technologies to streamline supply chain operations and reduce administrative costs. AIBĖ was among the first retailers to implement innovative cash management systems and has continuously modernized its technological infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency.
