Aldi is a chain of supermarkets founded in the US in 1978. It operates a total of 2149 stores across 38 states countrywide including Texas, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, etc, which are owned by Aldi Süd. Aldi US owns a mobile app as well.
More than 50 million customers visit Aldi US’s stores every month.
In 2021, Aldi US achieved a turnover of €15.6 billion, experiencing an increase of 9.36% compared to 2020. Currently, the firm employs 25 000 employees.
In 2021, Forbes named Aldi US as one of the country's Best Large Employers, and in 2018 the business was named as Best Employer for New Grads.
Aldi US offers organic, gluten-free products as well as items free from synthetic colourings.

Furthermore, Aldi US is planning to reduce its waste by 50% by 2030 and in 2020, more than 29 million pounds of product were donated instead of going to landfills. Nearly 300 000 tons of material such as plastics and cardboards were recycled in 2020. Aldi US is also expecting to reduce its carbon emissions by 26% and packaging by 15% by 2025.
