AlphaBares is a food distributor based in Portugal and has been operating since 1979. The company focuses on the distribution to the horeca sector. Its clients include institutes, schools, hotels and restaurants.

AlphaBares achieved a turnover of € 13.5 million in 2019 and presently employs 100 people.

AlphaBares works with 200 local and international suppliers. 

The company handles its own logistics thanks to the team assigned to handle logistics and distribution services. The company owns a 5000m2 warehouse whch is divided into 2 areas, one for ambient foods and one for frozen and chilled foods.

Furthermore, the business handles the delivery and owns 50 delivery vehicles distributing to more than 4000 points across the country.

AlphaBares is particularly interested in innovative products for its frozen foods category. the firm is looking for brands but also wants to collaborate with suppliers who can cater for the businesses's private labels.
