Created in 1978 through the merge of Alfrend Ltd and Swantex Ltd. The company is based in Gibraltar, deals with general merchandise, also serves as commission agents.

Before the merge Alfrend Ltd used to trade mainly non-food items and Swantex Ltd was known to deal in the wholesaling of foodstuffs and confectionery. After the merge of the two companies has diversified their respective business activities.
