Almeer Group

Almeer Group is an importer, wholesaler and distributor which was established in 1952 by Mr Jalal Almeer and Mr Abdul Rahman Almeer in Bahrain. Almeer Group started by importing and distributing food items from the Gulf States and other countries to all over Bahrain. It is headquartered in Al Muharraq.

The firm now operates 7 subsidiaries which are as follows:

• Almeer Trading Est: offers high quality building materials and equipment from all over the world.
• Almuntazah Market: is a chain of 11 supermarkets providing prime foods at affordable prices. It is also one of the biggest supermarket chains in Bahrain
• Almeer Distribution: provides international and local FMCG to the Bahraini market.
• Almuntazah Travels: is a chain of IATA-recognised travel agencies
• Almeer Training Center: offers professional training for its employees.
• Almuntazah Express: provides home deliveries from the company’s supermarkets.
• Almuntazah Trading Centre: offers household items.

Almeer Group currently runs franchises for 2 international firms which are as follows:

• Herfy: is a Saudi-Arabian fast food restaurant chain of which Almeer Group operates 3 franchises in Bahrain.
• Segafredo Espresso: is a chain of Italian Café of which Almeer Group operates 1 outlet in the country since 2013.

Almeer Group currently employs over 850 people and achieves an annual turnover of € 2.64 million. 

Almeer Group provides a wide variety of products in the following categories(not limited to):

• Savory Grocery: nuts, oil, canned food, etc.
• Dairy: milk, yogurt and many more.
• Fresh & Chilled Food: meat, seafood, charcuterie, etc.
• Household: a variety of kitchen wares and many more.

Almeer Group deals with numerous renowned international brands like Haribo, Twyford and several others.

Almeer Group imports its products from various countries such as Australia, Switzerland, Scotland, India, etc
