Founded in Kuwait in 1964, Americana Restaurants is the largest restaurant operator in the MENA region and Kazakhstan. Its headquarters is based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Its geographic footprint covers 12 markets across the Middle East, North Africa, Kazakhstan, Morocco, etc.

In the financial year 2022, Americana Restaurants achieved a turnover of €2.15 billion and currently employs more than 40,000 employees.

In 2022, the business signed a franchise agreement with Yum! Brands to develop and operate Pizza Hut restaurants across Saudi Arabia, except in Jeddah city. Moreover, it also partnered with Peet’s Coffee to launch the first Peet’s Coffee outlet in Dubai Mall in January 2023.
