Amka Poland
Amka Poland, part of the multinational AMKA Group, is a key player in the import and distribution of quality wines, beers, and spirits in Poland. Established as a subsidiary of the family-owned AMKA Group, which originated in Denmark in 1978, Amka Poland operates from its main office in Warsaw at Aleja Rzeczypospolitej 18/83.
The AMKA Group, founded by Anna-Marie and Karsten Søndergaard, has grown from a hobby wine import business into a network of 19-20 individual companies across 10 countries, including Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, and Portugal. With over 165 passionate employees group-wide, the company distributes more than 30 million bottles annually to diverse channels such as border trade, duty-free shops, monopolies, web shops, wine shops, hotels, restaurants, cafés, kiosks, petrol stations, business-to-business clients, and supermarkets, covering both on-trade and off-trade sales.
In Poland, Amka Poland focuses on importing premium beverages from around the world and supplying them to the local market. Led by Managing Director Brian Hauch Fenger, it leverages the group's centralized expertise in administration, finance, IT, logistics, marketing, and purchasing based in Randers, Denmark. The Polish operations emphasize efficient distribution, making it an attractive partner for producers seeking access to Northern European markets.
Amka Poland maintains additional presence with entities like Amka Sp. z o.o. in Bialystok, supporting broader activities. As an independent importer, it offers tailored solutions for brands, from fine wines to spirits and beers, ensuring wide market coverage. The group's dynamic structure of independent business units with dedicated management enhances its ability to serve varied customer needs effectively.
For manufacturers and suppliers in food, drinks, and related sectors, partnering with Amka Poland provides access to established distribution networks, expert sales teams, and a proven track record in the competitive beverage industry.
