Founded in 1988 in Switzerland, AMS focuses on sourcing Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) on an international scale for its retail partners. The alliance currently represents 9 top European food retailers and supplies products to over 15,200 stores across 21 countries.
AMS specializes in initiating, managing, and coordinating joint-buying activities for its shareholders and EURO SHOPPER™ distributor members. The EURO SHOPPER™ brand, launched in 1996, offers a pan-European budget range, available in more than six countries. AMS’s buying service includes private labels in food, near-food, non-food, and goods-not-for-resale.
By pooling and leveraging the expertise and volume of its retailers, AMS delivers high-quality products at competitive prices, enhancing the competitive edge of its retail partners. AMS also provides suppliers with access to larger volumes and new markets, creating economies of scale for both parties.
