Founded in 1915 by Alfed Mizzi, AMSM, part of the Alf Mizzi & Sons Group, started as an import business. The company specialises in the sales, distribution and marketing of a wide range of food and grocery products. AMSM compiles over 150 local and international brands and is currently the leading FMCG distributor in Malta.
The firm operates 11 separate business units, enabling it to focus on each brand’s marketing and distribution.
AMSM caters to over 2,000 clients. Operating in the HoReCa sector, the firm sells to hotels, restaurants, kiosks, etc. Some of its notable clients include Leader Price, Conad, Carrefour, etc.
In 2021, the AMSM signed an agreement with Melita Business to provide all telecommunication services.
With a workforce of 460 people, the company achieved an annual turnover of €89.3 million in 2019.
AMSM offers a variety of products in the following categories:

Additionally, the company is also the sole distributor of brands such as Philadelphia, Oreo, Milka, belVita, Côte d’Or, etc.
AMSM carries out more than 600 deliveries per day and owns more than 80 delivery trucks. The business also operates 3 temperature-controlled warehouses. Furthermore, AMSM uses Necto, one of the most advanced BI Tools currently on the market.
