Founded in 1995, Arcaplanet is a chain of pet stores established in Italy. The firm operates over 380 stores across 17 regions countrywide. Arcaplanet also runs 2 stores in Switzerland. It has been owned by Permira since 2016.

In 2021, 25 new stores were opened across the country.

Furthermore, Arcaplanet is the first business to launch an online pet shop in Italy.

The Ark Academy was created in 2013 to offer training to its employees.

Among its services, Arcaplanet offers facilities to wash and dry its client’s pets and pet clothings as well as accessories. Educational activities and training are also provided by experts.

Many of its stores are equipped with coffee shops to offer its clients a comfortable experience while shopping.

Arcaplanet currently employs over 1750 people and achieved a turnover of €339.23 million in 2020. Its online revenue amounted to €7.5 million in the same year.

Additionally, the firm helps homeless animals by collecting food and donating them to non-profit organisations that take care of less fortunate animals in Italy.
