Ard Alkhir

Incorporated in 1999 by Mahmoud Elshafey, Ard Alkhir is an importer and distributor specialising in food and beverages on the Egyptian market. Its headquarters is based in Mashtool El Souk, Egypt. 

Regarding its distribution channels, the business supplies its products to hypermarket and supermarket chains, hotel and restaurant chains and many other licensed companies. 

On the Egyptian market, Ard Alkhir has a market share of around 40% and its sales growth rate is at 25%. Moreover, the company employs a total of 120 people and 38 of them are from the sales team. 

Ard Alkhir offers several types of products under different categories such as (non-exhaustive list): 

• Sweet grocery: coffees, chocolates, cornflakes, etc. 
• Savoury grocery: spices, pastas, sauces, etc. 
• Drinks: natural juices. 

Multiple internationally-recognised brands are available in its portfolio such as Tai Hua, Pasta Berruto, Camel Nuts, Thai Chef, Bolero, Alicafe, etc. 

Concerning logistics, the firm operates 3 warehouses which measures 4,000 square metres each and it has 15 delivery trucks which can load items upto 1.5 tonnes and 6 trucks of 5 tonnes.
