Arem group was founded by Mr Jamel Arem, in 1979 in Tunisia. The group has operations in diverse profitable business sectors:

• Trade & distribution

Trade and distribution has been at the heart of the group's activities through STEQ.
Steq is a company created by Arem, which main objective is the distribution of spare parts for automobiles. By showing interest in this sector, the group has given rise to new domains of activity and products whereby its commercials companies seek:

• Cosmetics and hygiene

The group distributes  famous brands of beauty & personal care products such as: Nivea, Septona, Byly,Mp3,Oe, Spontex, Persavon.

• Industry

Arem's took the initiative to launch its business in the industrial sector after the acquisition of SIAME, a company specialized in manufacturing electrical appliances and equipment. Also in different fields of activities:

1. Aluminium extrusion
2. Aluminium casting
3. Manufacture of solar water heaters

• Services

This sector of the company is expanding at both national and international levels. The group parterns with: Carrefour,Carrefour market, Geant, Monoprix: modern supermarkets & hypermarkets. They currently work with distributors and wholesalers companies to reach a network of 800 retailers.

• Hospitality & tourism

The aim of the group for investing in the tourism sector is based on a historical and diversified cultural heritage. Arem's group possess 3 hotels located in the best sites of Tunisia:
