Founded on the 12 September 1884 in Sweden, Arvid Nordquist is a family business which offers a variety of food and non-food items. Arvid Nordquist has also expanded and is now present in Norway, Denmark and Finland. Currently, Arvid Nordquist offers around 2500 references. Arvid Nordquist also operates an online shop. 

Arvid Nordquist operates 4 stores in Stockholm. 

In 2018, Arvid Nordquist registered a turnover of € 292 million. The firm employs 286 people at present. 

It must be noted that Arvid Nordquist has had various famous personalities as its clients such as the artist Anders Zorn, the poet Erik Axel Karlfeldt, Princess Stephanie von Wedel and Swedish chef Tore Wretman. 

In 1910, the company became a royal court supplier and also delivered products to the British court, even supplying Russian caviar to Queen Elizabeth II for her wedding.  

Arvid Nordquist has launched a Wine Academy offering training programs for those who need to acquire a good knowledge of wine and coffee, regarding aromas, flavours, winemaking, trends, etc. 

The business also runs a Coffee Academy specialising in training courses which give an insight on cultivation, preparation of coffee, tasting methodology as well as Barista courses, etc.

Arvid Nordquist has developed its own labels which are:

• Arvid Nordquist: a brand offering tea and coffee made with Arabic beans

• Ekorrens Ecological: a range of organic sweet snacks which are gluten-free, lactose-free, gelatin-free and vegan

In the case of its own brands, Arvid Nordquist uses green packaging. 70%of the materials are plant-based.
