Bagels & Beans is a restaurant chain which was launched in the Netherlands in 1996 by Ronald Bakker and Ninande Thio. The company has introduced the American bagel to the Netherlands and has quickly grown. 

Furthermore, as of 2020, Bagels & Beans operates 1 own branch and 80 franchise branches in the Netherlands as well as 1 branch in Germany. 

In 2021, Bagels & Beans was announced as the 'Winner of the GfK Formula Report Out of Home'. The previous year, it was announced that Bagels & Beans was nominated for the Food Service Award. The chain won the NFV Franchise Award in 2009, 2013, 2015 and 2017. Furthermore, it was awarded the GFK Out of Home Formula Award in 2017. 

With a workforce of around 15 employees, the firm achieves an annual turnover of € 3.04 million.
