With over 15 years of experience in the import of premium products from Europe and the USA, Ballotin is based in China and has quickly escalated as a reliable wholesaler of imported luxury food and beverages to the Chinese market.

Some of its clients include food service businesses and retailers. Some of them are Starbucks, Disney Parks, Paris Baguette, etc.

Ballotin initially started by importing luxury chocolates from Europe, partnering with some of the world’s best chocolatiers like Neuhaus or Corne Port-Royal. The company has since started supplying products from various international brands and introduced them to China.

Ballotin employed 30 persons and by 2016 the firm’s turnover was € 728250.

Ballotin offers products in the Sweet Grocery category such as chocolates. 

Furthermore, the firm developed its own brand, Ballotin which includes a range of chocolates. 

 Ballotin also collaborates with leading companies like Starbucks and Disneyland and designed customized products and packaging for their business. For instance, Ballotin supplies Starbucks with custom-made  high-quality chocolates from Neuhaus, the Belgian Chocolatier, and designed the packaging. Starbucks is thus able to sell premium chocolate gift boxes to customers.

To ensure that high standards are maintained, Ballotin is looking for those suppliers whose products are HACCP certified and have the necessary food safety certifications. In addition to this, products’ origins must be guaranteed with the necessary certifications.
