Baltaxia

Established in 1991, Baltaxia is an importer and distributor of food products. Its headquarters is based in Liberec, Czech Republic.

Regarding its distribution channels, it supplies international chains including Kaufland, Billa, Coop, Albert as well as other health food stores. 

It operates an online shop 

The importer achieves a turnover of €4.6 million and it employs less than 25 employees. 

Baltaxia provides several products in the following categories:

• Dairy: condensed milk.
• Savory grocery: canned fish, pasta, cornflour, etc.
• Frozen: chicken, seafood, 
• Fresh and chilled: salmon, salmon salads, tuna salads, etc.
• Sweet grocery: cookies.

The company represents brands such as:

• Sokra: canned fish, salmon salad, sardines, etc.
• Sun & Sea: anchovy eyes, caviar cream, sardines etc.

Moreover, it offers a range of vegan products such as fish peas and salad. 

In 2009, Baltaxia became the exclusive importer of gluten-free pasta of the Sam Mills brand for the Czech market.

Concerning its logistics solutions, the business has partnered with ‘Seaberg’ which offers storage in a freezer warehouse and it is also in constant contact with various carriers for the delivery of its products.
