Founded by Dr Gerald Bassleer more than 40 years ago, Bassleer Biofish is an importer and distributor specialising in ornamental fish products. Its headquarters is based in Herselt, Belgium. 

Concerning its distribution channels, the business distributes its products to the fish ornamental industry. Some of its clients are Aqua Hobbies Robert Vella, Eldorado, Kronstil Aquaristik, etc. 

The importer offers a diagnostic online service and aid for problems with disease fish.
