Established in 1905 by George Chichester, Birchall Foodservice is one of the largest independent foodservice companies in the UK. Its headquarters is based in Burnley, Lancashire, United Kingdom. The company is a member of the leading independent foodservice brand, Country Range.

In March 2022, Birchall Foodservice partnered with Solomon Commercial to expand its delivery fleet by adding 33 aerodynamic vehicles. Moreover, in the same year, the company was chosen as host of the Callebaut chocolate roadshow. 

With regards to sustainability, Birchall Foodservice reduces its impact on the environment by fighting against plastic use in its business operations. 

Birchall Foodservice is indulged in community service also as it donated food to BFC and provided christmas dinners to people in 2021. Moreover, the firm raised donations for Laura, a local girl who needed donations for her brain tumour treatment.
