Bki Foods

Bki Foods started operating in Denmark in 1960. The founder, Svend Mathiesen, launched the company after travelling to Brazil. Bki Foods first started by offering coffee and has diversified its range to offer more food items.

Bki Foods is also a roaster that runs a factory in the country. The company is recognised as one of the leading distributors of coffee in Denmark.

Bki Foods supplies retail businesses, food service establishments and manufacturers. 

The company has expanded following the acquisition of businesses like Aalborg, Kaffeimport, Herning Kafferisten and ARC Quality Foods. 

At present, Bki Foods offers products in the following categories:

• Savory Grocery: pasta, oil, salt, etc.

• Sweet Grocery: chocolate, coffee, tea, etc.

• Drinks: a range of juices

Bki Foods has been distributing products from brands such as Lindt, Yogi Tea, Ruds Kokken, De Cecco, etc.

Furthermore, the company has launched its own brand, KBI Kaffe, a range of coffee beans. Bki Foods also expanded the range to include an organic coffee line, BKI Organic. 

The company is ISO 9001, HACCP and IFS certified. 

Bki Foods uses reusable packaging and helps to reduce the use of plastic. Furthermore, the new packaging can be recycled.
