Bonduelle is a French company specializing in industrial processing and preservation of vegetables. The company was founded in 1853 and for the past 70 years Bonduelle expanded rapidly in the canned and frozen vegetables industry.

Cassegrain came in 1856, they can be easily found in stores thanks to their famous packaging.The mascot, the little white rabbit, was created in 1970: Cassegrain was finally founded! Bonduelle acquired the brand 29 years later.
Arctic Garden
Arctic is the number one frozen vegetables brand in Quebec, Canada. Their products meet the group’s nutritional requirements. The success is thanks to with large scale retailers and then consumers.
Globus
Globus was created in 1924 in Hungary, Globus is canned foods permanently high expectations in terms of quality. Globus is also considered as the most appreciated brand in the canned vegetable category (Bonduelle is No.1). 54% of consumers know of it.

In March 2018, the firm launched a range of fresh and frozen meat substitutes such as vegetarian burgers and dumpling.
The company works with 3100 farmers and 128000 hectares of land are used to grow vegetables for the company. There are 55 industrial sites in Europe, North America and South America. 95% of Bonduelle’s products are sourced in France itself.
The vegetables are processed through the most delicate and finest way in a modern facility using all the latest technology equipment. The freshness of the vegetables are quality guaranteed as they are sealed using an innovative folding system. The frozen vegetables are stored in warehouses, in large containers at -18°C and transported also at the same temperature in lorries.

The brand Bonduelle stood out on the list of opinion leaders published by Ultramedia. The list recognises the most influential brands in the agrifood industry in the world and Bonduelle was ranked first.
Furthermore, in 2020, Bonduelle has started providing catered salads which contain no preservatives and only natural additives like citric acid are used if required.
In November 2020 Bonduelle launched a new range of canned foods free from additives and which contains less salt and sugar. The products under this range are free from any pesticide residues.
For 2021, Bonduelle is planning to release a new range of canned pulses.
The company is also encouraging farmers to use alternative farming methods that will eliminate the use of pesticides. By 2025, all farmers working with Bonduelle will stop using pesticides.
Regarding the packaging, Bonduelle intends to replace plastic with cardboard packaging. The firm has partnered with Loop in order to develop a recycling project in 2021.
For 2021, Bonduelle is currently sourcing products for its private labels in the frozen food category such as fruits and vegetables.
