Cafetex

Founded in 1974 and based in Greece, Cafetex is one of the biggest Greek owned coffee roasting companies in the country. In 2005, Cafetex  was acquired by Coffee Connection. Currently, the company is the leading producer of Private Label coffee products in Greece.

Additionally, Cafetex is also the parent company of the Coffeeway chain. 

Some of the company’s clients include OK, Market IN, The Mart, My Market, etc. 

In 2021, Cafetex signed a contract with a distribution company in Scandinavian countries which will allow for the promotion of Cafetex products in Scandinavian supermarkets.

The enterprise achieved a turnover of € 9.41 million in 2020 and employed around 36 people. 

Cafetex specialises in the import and processing of all types of coffee. Some of the products offered are Greek coffee, Filter coffee, Flavoured Filter Coffee, Instant Coffee, etc. 

Furthermore, the business also provides packaging services for all coffee products. Different types of packaging are offered such as Vacuum, Pouch, Paper box, Metal box, etc. 

Cafetex produces and owns the brands, Coffeeway and Brazita, both specialising in coffee products. 

The firm holds certifications such as IFS Food, ISO 22000, UTZ, PLMA, etc. 

With regards to logistics, Cafetex’s processing plant and headquarters are located in Peania-Attica, occupying a 2.000 sq.m. building in a total area of 5.000 sq.m. 

The company is looking for brand label Iced Coffee drinks, Cold Brew coffee and Nitro can products. The suppliers must hold certifications such as BRC, IFS, and ISO.
