Camst Group
Established in 1945 by Gustavo Trombetti, Camst Group is one of the largest Italian companies providing its quality services in the catering sector. Its headquarters is based in Bologna, Italy. The company expanded its business internationally in countries such as Germany, Spain, Switzerland, etc. Besides, the company has various subsidiaries such as Arcasa, Combi Catering, Sera, Serimi, Summertrade and many more.
Furthermore, the Group operates 42 cooking centres as well as bars and restaurants across the country. Moreover, the restaurants and bars operate under the banners Tavolamica, Gustavo and Camst Cafe.
Concerning its distribution channels, Camst Group distributes over 62 million meals to schools, kindergartens, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.
With a workforce of 15,182 people, Camst Group achieved a turnover of € 542 million in 2020.
It is noteworthy that the firm gained recognition through the Sustainability Report Award by Corriere della Sera and Bologna Business School with Aiccon in April 2022.

Moreover, the enterprise maintains the highest quality standards as it is certified by CEI EN ISO 50001, ISO 9001, ISO 22005, ISO 22000, Organic Reg CE 834/2007 and many others.
Pertaining to its logistics solutions, the foodservice has a 23,000 square feet distribution centre and also a fleet of vehicles to manage its deliveries.
Concerning sustainability, the business entered into an agreement with Hera Group in September 2020 to reduce the quantity of waste produced.
With regards to the community, Camst Group distributed shopping vouchers worth € 1,000 to support individuals with the weakest incomes.
It is noteworthy that the firm partnered with Blulink in order to implement the Quarta Informative System to manage its documentation about Quality, Safety, Audits and Environment from mobile phones.
Furthermore, in October 2020, Camst Group converted the company canteen to smart canteen by installing the WIB refrigerated Smart Lockers for a 4.0 canteen in collaboration with its partner Ricoh.
In July 2021, the company signed an agreement with the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo to start a joint research path in order to develop new trends and gastronomic proposals in the collective catering sector.
Moreover, in April 2022, Camst Group with the collaboration of Guzzini, started “The Better Future Kit” project in order to reduce waste and plastic use. Camst Group took the initiative to distribute stainless steel forks, knives and spoons in a bio based case to canteens, universities and schools.
Finally, the objective of the company is to reach 1 billion euros in revenue by 2025.
