Cosmetics European Distribution

Founded by Jean-Louis Scholler and Olivier Vinot in 2010, Cosmetics European Distribution (CED) is an importer, wholesaler and distributor of cosmetic products, based in France. The company also acquired Astrodif, a French drugstore. CED specialises in the distribution of its products in the Benelux and France.

CED offers over 1700 references from various parts of the world.

CED offers sales and marketing services for different brands. The company devises distribution strategies, brand building and positioning on the market and also handles the negotiations. CED also offers display filling services.  

At present, CED supplies over 6000 points of sales including major retail chains, 2000 pharmacies, drugstores, specialised retailers and e-commerce websites in France and the Benelux territory. Some of its clients are Bio C’ Bon, Amazon, Carrefour, Auchan, Maxi Pharma, Greenweez, La Foir Fouille, etc.

CED’s team includes 15 employees working in its headquarters as well as a sales team consisting of 25 people. The firm achieves an annual turnover of € 487 000.

CED offers various products in the following category:

CED distributes over 25 brands such as The Humble Co, Hask, Alma K, Pure Heals, Adopt, Smile Makers, etc. 

CED is the exclusive distributor of several brands in the Benelux and France. 

Furthermore, CED works with brands that comply with European regulation bodies like CPNP, Cosmetic Files, Green Point, Triman, etc.

CED provides internal logistics services and operates a 2000 m2 warehouse. CED handles the reception, pick-up, delivery, quality control, parcelling as well as storage of products. The firm also handles quality control.
