Coty is a French company specialising in the retail distribution of personal care products and is one of the market leaders in the cosmetics industry in the country. It was founded in 1904 by François Coty and is headquartered in New York, USA. Coty’s executive offices can be found in London. The company is partly owned by JAB Holding company, with a 60 percent stake.

In 2016, Coty acquired 41 beauty brands from Procter & Gamble.

Coty operates various branches in 46 countries worldwide including Germany, USA, UK and many more.
