Danone is a French multinational food-products corporation based in Paris. It has four business lines: Fresh Dairy products, Waters, Early Life Nutrition and Medical Nutrition. In the United States it is marketed as the Dannon Company.

Danone is present in over 130 markets and generated sales of €22.4 billion in 2015, with more than half in emerging countries. In 2015, Fresh dairy products represent 50% of the group's total sales, Early Life Nutrition 22%, Waters 21% and Medical Nutrition 7%.

With 16 brands present,France is for Danone the first country ranking in terms of contribution to 2014 sales (11% of the group's total turnover) withe 7500 employees and 12 plants.
