EGP SEAFOOD

Founded in 1989, EGP Seafood is an importer, distributor and wholesaler of fresh and frozen seafood products in the Province of Quebec. Its headquarters is based in Laval, Quebec, Canada. As of 2012, EGP Seafood became a member of Sysco Canada. 

Regarding its distribution channels, the importer provides its products to both private and governmental organisations such as restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, fish markets, hospitals, schools and many more. 

EGP Seafood’s annual turnover amounts to €6.5 million and its employee count ranges from 11 to 50 people. 

Moreover, the business offers different types of seafood products in 2 categories namely:

• Chilled & fresh: fish, crab meat, lobsters, etc. 
• Frozen: fish, mussels, squids, etc. 

The distributor has its private label brands known as Aquarius and Viet Panda. Aquarius offers Squid from Thailand and Black Tiger Shrimp from Vietnam and Viet Panga offers Basa fillets from Vietnam. 

EGP Seafood holds various certifications such as Ocean Wise, ASC, MSC, SQF Level 3 and HACCP.

Regarding logistics, the firm operates its warehouse and has a fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles to ensure deliveries.
