Founded in 2001, EIPC (European Independent Purchasing Company) is a non profit making company owned by Subway franchises in Europe. It manages the purchases of the 5000+ Subway shops in Europe. It also provides services in the area of quality control, maintenance, insurance, utilities, merchant services waste management and more for the fast food chain. 

The organization has delivered over €229M of benefit to European Subway franchises. They only work with suppliers able to supply the products, packaging services to SUBWAY Franchisees across Europe in the volumes required, to the exact specification dictated by Subway, and with the ultimate approval of the company.  Once the approval process is complete, EIPC enters into a partnership with the supplier, which enables investment on both sides over the term of the contract to supply.

Being one of the fastest growing submarine sandwich chain, Subway is present in 44000 countries across the world, including 5000 in Europe. All the products in Subway restaurants are specified and monitored  by the franchisor.

It is the IPC Europe's role to make sure that the products that reaches to the the restaurants are approved products and services they need to run their business, at the best price for the quality required.
