Facilicom Group is a family business founded in 1966 and is headquartered in Schiedam, Netherlands. Facilicom Group began operating as GOM, offering cleaning products before diversifying its business. In 1974, Facilicom Group expanded in Belgium and shortly after, in the UK. in 2016, the company started operating in Ireland.

Facilicom Group reached a global turnover of € 1.26 billion in 2018, indicating that its revenue rose by 1.7% compared to 2017. The turnover in the Netherlands is € 996 million. There are over 31000 people employed by the company. 

Facilicom Group has founded the Facilicom Foundation, encouraging its employees to volunteer and help vulnerable groups. In 1981, the business had set up a social fund to help employees facing financial difficulties. 

Facilicom Group is aiming to become CO2 neutral by 2030 and has been taking measures accordingly. The company will switch to energy that is sustainably produced but will also produce their own energy using wind turbines, solar parks, heating plants and thermal energy storage.
