Townview Sourcing is the Irish arm of the Townview food sourcing and distribution business, an international specialist in sourcing and supplying food products and ingredients for the UK and Irish markets. The wider business, established in 1999 and operating from Newry in County Down, has more than 25 years of trading experience and works with customers and suppliers in over 35 countries; the Irish-registered sourcing entity was established in 2014 to serve trade into and out of the Republic of Ireland. The business forms part of Roebuck Food Group plc and has more recently been repositioned under the Foro Food Solutions name.

Townview serves four main sectors: food manufacturing (ready meals and convenience food producers), foodservice (restaurants, hotels, caterers, schools and healthcare), retail (supermarkets, discounters, butchers and specialty food stores) and pet food manufacturing. Its retail division concentrates on sourcing and distributing differentiated, provenance-centric fast-moving consumer goods, supporting in-store counters with ready-to-eat and easy-to-heat options and offering expertise in own-brand and private-label product development for major supermarkets and discounters.

The product portfolio is broad and protein-led:

• Meat — beef, lamb, pork, poultry, game and mutton, available fresh, processed, value-added or in custom cuts
• Seafood — fresh, frozen and processed fish and shellfish, including shrimp, crab, clams and scallops
• Dairy ingredients — milk powders, whey and derivative powders, dairy blends, milk protein concentrates and milk fats
• Frozen foods and retail FMCG lines for consumer channels
• Pet nutrition ingredients for pet food manufacturers
