Genuport Trade

Founded in 1949 by Guntram Peiser in Germany, Genuport Trade is a wholesaler that started by distributing and marketing confectionery. Following a merger between different independent wholesalers in 1971, the company started growing.

By the 1980s Genuport Trade has diversified its product portfolio and now offers an extensive range of products to its customers. These include premium confectionery. The company imports from over 30 countries.

Genuport Trade’s clients include discount stores, convenience stores, drugstores, supermarket chains, online shops, etc. Some of its major customers are Rewe, Metro, Kaufland, Edeka, etc.Genuport Trade works with 200000 customers. 

In 2015, Genuport Trade achieved a turnover of € 104 million and at present, 160 employees work for the company. 

Genuport Trade offers products from the following categories:

• Sweet Grocery: confectionery, chocolate, breakfast products, tea, etc.

• Savory Grocery: a wide range of salty snacks

• Frozen Food: ice-cream, desserts, pastries, etc.
