Based in Portugal, Gourmet World Food is an importer and distributor Italian and Portuguese food items. It was founded in 2019 following a merger between 3 companies supplying the retail and HoReCa sectors. Currently, Gourmet World Food distributes to various hotels and restaurants as well as retail businesses.

Gourmet World Food operates 2 facilities in Portugal that manufacture charcuterie products and cheeses. 

Nowadays, Gourmet World Food regroups several subsidiaries (known as members) that cater for the following sectors:

• HoReCa: Alpha Food Supply, Italmarket, ap foods, Bargeste
• Production: Macal
• Online B2C: Alpha Market
• Cash & Carry: ap. foods

Gourmet World Food offers various services includingproduct development, negotiations, warehouse space rental, customer care, etc.

Gourmet World Food manages 4 logistics centres in Porto, Lisbon, Algarve and Madeira.
