Established in 2016, Grandiose Supermarket is a grocery retailer of fast moving products in the UAE market. Its headquarters is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company is a subsidiary of Ghassan Aboud Group. 

Currently, the business operates 28 points of sale across the country and an e-commerce platform as well. 

Grandiose Supermarket achieves an annual turnover of more than €10 million and its employee count ranges from 200 to 500 people. 

It is noteworthy that the firm was awarded the Most Admirable Retailer of the Year within Food and Grocery Category at the Images RetailMe Awards in November 2022. 

Moreover, the enterprise offers a wide assortment of products in the following categories: 

• Savoury grocery: rice, pastas, pulses, etc. 
• Sweet grocery: chocolates, sweets, sugars, etc. 
• Dairy: yoghurts, cheeses, creams, etc.
• Frozen: meat, pastries, pizzas, etc. 
• Chilled & fresh: cold cuts, ready meals, fruits, etc.

Presently, the firm has set an objective towards promoting expansion by opening at least 30 stores by the end of 2022. Moreover, it is planning to open another 15-20 outlets in 2023.

In the annual food festival “Taste of Dubai” held in February 2023, Grandiose Supermarket was the “official supermarket” which provided fresh ingredients for the masterclasses and cooking demos. 

Pertaining to its logistics solutions, the retailer operates its warehouse and has a dedicated fleet of vehicles ensuring deliveries on a daily basis. In September 2022, the retail chain added an energy-efficient delivery fleet in its logistics system. As a result, the business is set to achieve net zero on carbon emissions by 2050.
