Founded by Jean-Pierre Grosbusch in 1917, Grosbusch is an importer of fruits and vegetables. Its headquarters is based in Ellange, Luxembourg. Having an experience of over 100 years, Grosbusch has become a leader in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and throughout the Greater Region. 

In addition, the firm’s clientele includes supermarkets, hypermarkets, caterers, restaurants, local authorities and many more. Its products can be found on its webshop as well. 

Besides, the importer provides services such as:

• Dressing and cutting 
• Pre-packing 
• Fruit@office (fresh fruit can be delivered directly at work)
• Animations and dramatisations (theatrical presentation of the product at the point of sale) 

Moreover, the firm generates an annual turnover of € 60 million and employs 250 people. 

In 2018, the firm was awarded the supply chain and retail excellence awards at the Luxembourg Food Awards. 

The firm offers a range of fruits and vegetables in the chilled & fresh category. Grosbusch offers its own brands such as Grosbusch, Grosbusch BIO and Grosbusch Fresh’Cut. Under these brands, a wide selection of fruits and vegetables are available. 

Additionally, the company works with renowned international suppliers such as Allgro, Bonduelle, Florette, Aviko, etc. Grosbusch only works with suppliers that are BRC certified. 

Moreover, the firm maintains the highest quality standards as it possesses certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, IFS Food, etc. 

In regards to its logistics solutions, the importer manages an airconditioned 18,000 square metres warehouse where its products are stored at controlled temperatures. Grosbusch has its own fleet of vehicles in order to conduct deliveries in a timely manner. Furthermore, deliveries are done daily to minimise the storage period of the products in order to keep them as fresh as possible. 

Concerning sustainability, the business uses STL technology which air conditions its facilities without using large amounts of polluting energy. Grosbusch is determined to reduce its waste production as well.
