Hesburger

Founded in 1966, Hesburger is a foodservice company which provides a wide range of food products. It is headquartered in Turku, Finland. 

It operates 278 restaurants. 

In 2021, it achieved a turnover of €234 million and it employs up to 5,400 employees. 

Hesburger offers a selection of products in the following categories:

• Fresh and chilled: salads, hamburgers, fries, etc. 
• Drinks: soft drinks, water, juice, etc.
• Sweet grocery: crumble, cookies, ice cream, etc.

Moreover, the company has invested in different sectors and works under subsidiaries such as:

• HeseKebab (6 restaurants)
• HesePesu (a car wash service)
• Hese Hotel (a cheap stay hotel)
• HeseKauppa (a clothing line)

It is noteworthy that Hesburger has developed its private label ‘Hesburger sauces’ which comprises a range of sauces for fresh salads or other dishes. 

The business also has its own plant producing protein products and in 2019, it opened its first plant protein factory. Hesburger can now sell vegetarian products like fries, burgers, soy sticks, etc.
