House of Fraser (HOF) is a well-known chain of departmental stores based in the UK since 1849. Founded by Hugh Fraser and James Arthur, HOF started as a drapery store and expanded significantly by taking over several businesses including Dingles Group, Dickins & Jones, Rackhams & Cavendish House, etc. 

Nowadays HOF owns 44 stores and in 2007, the company launched its online shop.

At present, the firm employs 18068 employees and in 2016, HOF achieved a turnover of € 981 million.
