Iglo is an Austrian wholesaler which was established in 1946 and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. Iglo Austria is owned by Nomad Foods Europe where products are sold under the Iglo name.  

The business employs around 1000 employees and its turnover reaches around €70 million. 

It provides various products under different categories such as:

• Savory grocery: bread, rice, meatballs, etc.
• Sweet grocery: sweet dumplings, chocolate ring cake, fruit puree, etc.
• Fresh and chilled: salmon, fish, dumplings, etc.
• Frozen: seafood, baby carrots, peas, etc.          

Iglo also offers a range of vegan products under the brand of ‘Green cuisine’: fish fingers, burger patties and sausages.

Moreover, the company launched a concept known as soft finger foods in its range of products for customers with chewing and swallowing disorders. It consists of mini meatballs, broccoli, rice, bread and many more in collaboration with the brand label ‘Tamale’.    

Its products can be found in a selection of catering wholesalers: Eurogast Kiennast, Eurogast Legro, Kastner, Riedhart Handels GmbH, Metro, Transgourmet, etc.

At Iglo, its fish range is 100% MSC certified.  

Regarding logistics, the firm's products are delivered via a fleet of trucks.
