JAVA Foodservice

Founded in 1925 by Eduard Wuyts and Elisa Debleecker, Java Foodservice is a foodservice wholesaler of food and non-food products. Its headquarters is based in Rotselaar, Belgium. The company is a subsidiary of Sligro Food Group. 

In relation to its distribution channels, the firm supplies its products to hospitals, schools, nurseries, catering companies and many more. Moreover, its full range is also available on its e-commerce platform. 

In the financial year 2019, Java Foodservice achieved a turnover of €108 million and it employs more than 300 people. 

Furthermore, a large assortment of goods is available in different categories such as: 

• Household: detergents, disinfectants, dishwashing liquids, etc. 
• Dairy: milk, cheese, yoghurts, etc.
• Chilled & fresh: prepared meals, fruits, vegetables, etc. 
• Frozen: ice creams, vegetables, desserts, etc. 
• Sweet grocery: coffees, teas, snacks, etc. 
• Savoury grocery: rice, oils, sauces, etc. 
• Drinks: juices, water, energy drinks, etc. 

Brands such as Nescafe, Nestle, Lipton, Inex, Knorr, Bonduelle, Haust and many others are endorsed by the firm. 

The company manufactures its own coffee under the private label “Java”. 

Java Foodservice maintains the highest quality standards as it is certified by Fairtrade, ISO 22000 and AFSCA. 

With regards to its logistics features, the business operates its distribution centres and has a fleet of 50 multi-temperature refrigerated trucks to conduct its deliveries.
