Established in 1952 by Art Kehe, Kehe Distributors is a wholesaler and distributor based in the US. The company is known for offering food and non-food products. 

At present, Kehe Distributors distributes to more than 15 000 retail chains, online retailers, convenience stores as well as independent retailers across 49 states across America, Mexico and the Caribbean. There is also a efulfillment service which is very practical as clients can order online through it. 

Kehe Distributors provides over 40 000 references including natural, organic as well as specialty foods and natural cosmetics. 

The distributor has also launched its subsidiary, Nature’s Best which specialises in sourcing natural and innovative brands. 

In 2020, Kehe Distributors reached a turnover of €4.9 billion and currently there are over 5500 people working for the company.  

The products provided by the company are USDA Organic, Fair Trade, non-GMO, Gluten-free, Vegan, Kosher, Allergen-free and Cruelty-free certified.

In 2021, Kehe Distributors has drafted a specific code of conduct for suppliers which indicates their requirements in regards to the ethical standards, laws regarding employment and child labor, anti-brebery rules, health and safety practices, etc. Suppliers wishing to work with the business should adhere to the code of conduct. 

Pertaining to its logistics, Kehe Distributors operates 16 distribution centres with a total space area of 5 million sq.ft. The firm runs a fleet of over 550 delivery vehicles. Recently, the distributor has introduced 5 Compressed Natural Gas tractors to its fleet.

Undoubtedly, KeHe Distributors works towards becoming a sustainable enterprise, it prioritizes various eco-friendly measures throughout the organisation. Along with the introduction of the 5 new vehicles, there are now 5 facilities that are LEED certified. Additionally, it has introduced a recycling programme for cardboard and plastic for all the warehouses. 

Concerned about the welfare of people and the community, Kehe Distributors has partnered with different NGOs. For instance, it collaborates with Climate Collaborative in order to provide ways for retailers to limit their own food waste.
