Established in 1940,  Kesko is a retail chain company and a subsidiary of the K-group based in Finland.  

In 2021, its turnover was €11.3 million. 

It operates through more than 1200 grocery stores across Finland. 

Kesko and K-retailers employ a total of about 39,000 people.

Its grocery chains are: kSupermarket, kCITYMARKET, kMarket, Kespro and Neste K.

Kesko provides various products under different categories such as:

• Savory grocery: Macaroni, bread, rice, etc. 
• Sweet grocery: Chocolate granola, cereal bars, cookies, etc. 
• Frozen: Ice cream, seafood, meat, etc.
• Fresh and chilled: Fruits, brussels sprouts, zucchini, etc.
• Dairy: Milk, butter, eggs, etc.
• Drinks: Coca-cola, juice, water, etc.
• Household: Floor detergents, kitchen paper, toilet paper, etc. 
• Personal care: Conditioner shampoo, toothbrush etc. 
• Wine and spirits: Champagne, beer, wine, etc.

  The business has its own private brands known as the:

•  k-Menu: Mozzarella, tagliatelle, fish fingers, etc. 
• Pirkka: frozen strawberries, premium coffee, champagne, etc.
