Krónan is a retail company that operates convenience stores in Iceland. It has been operating in Iceland since 2000 and its parent company is Festi. The headquarters of Krónan (Supermarket) is located in Southern Peninsula, Iceland.

The retail company consists of 26 convenience stores across Iceland and also provides an online store.

More than a thousand of employees work at Krónan and its total segment revenue for the year 2020 amounted to €30 million.

Krónan offers a variety of products under various categories:

• Sweet grocery: Chocolate, candy, popcorn, etc.
• Savoury grocery: Bread, salty biscuits, rice, etc.
• Fresh and chilled: Fish, vegetables, fruits, etc.

This Iceland grocery store does carry specialty food products like organic health food and gluten-free bread as well as vegan products such as: vegan cheese, lollipops, curly fries, waffle fries and many more. 

Private label products are available under the Krónan brand to customers offering Krónan flat cakes, spinach, young beef mince, chia seeds, orange juice, mayonnaise, etc.
