Lagardère Travel Retail Hong Kong Limited

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Hong Kong, Lagardère Travel Retail Hong Kong originally formed part of the Lagardère Travel Retail group. Currently, the company operates as CDF Lagardère following a joint venture between China Duty Free Group and Lagardère Travel Retail Hong Kong. This partnership was consolidated in 2017. 

Furthermore, the firm owns more than 420 stores across 26 airports in China. These include brands such as Duty Zero which specialises in a wide range of alcoholic products. 

CDF Lagardère also partners with stores such as Swarovski, Hainan Tourism Investment Duty Free, and many more. Following the partnership with the latter store, CDF Lagardère aims to open 80 new stores across China in 2021. 

The enterprise has a workforce of around 2,000 people. 

CDF Lagardère offers its products in segments such as duty-free, luxury, travel essentials and foodservice. 

Additionally, the company offers bands such as Jimmy Choo, Swarovski, Tommy Hilfiger, Pandora, etc. 

In 2021, CDF Lagardère sold a minority stake in its Asian business to e-commerce retailer JD.com and investment firm JIC, which amounted to € 10.18 million.
