Lambretchs

Founded in 1921, Lambrechts is an independent distribution center specialising in the trade of food and non-food products on the Belgian market. Its headquarters is based in Tongeren, Belgium. 

Lambrechts has been the licensee of the Spar brand since 1985 and today it has more than 100 retailers who are part of this formula. 

Concerning its distribution channels, the business supplies its products to around 300 shopkeepers and retailers across the country. 

Lambrechts reports an annual turnover of around €118 million and currently employs 180 employees. 

Furthermore, the enterprise offers a wide assortment of products in different categories like:

• Chilled & fresh: fruits, vegetables, meat, etc. 
• Frozen: meat, ice creams, desserts, etc. 
• Dairy: butter, cheese, milk, etc. 
• Savoury grocery: spices, oils, pastas, etc. 
• Sweet grocery: chocolates, sweets, cereals, etc. 
• Drinks: water, juices, sodas, etc. 
• Wine & spirits: wines, beers, rums, etc. 
• Personal care: shampoos, lotions, serums, etc. 
• Household: detergents, foils, toilet papers, etc. 

In relation to its logistics solutions, Lambrechts operates a fully equipped warehouse measuring more than 40,000 m2 and has a fleet of temperature-controlled trucks to facilitate speedy deliveries.
