La Mie Caline is a food service which was founded in 1985 in France by André Barreteau, Michelle Barreteau and Catherine Guittonneau. Nowadays, La Mie Caline consists of 238 stores, both owned and franchised. La Mie Caline has 40 million customers.
In 2002 La Mie Caline also launched its own museum in its first store, allowing visitors to find out more about the business.
La Mie Caline operates a 200000 sq.ft bakery in St. Jean de Monts with 12 production lines that manufactures baguettes, cookies, pastries, etc.
In 2018, the company reached a turnover of € 166 million and at present, employs 2200 people.
La Mie Caline offers an array of breakfast, lunch and tea time menu options that include salads, sandwiches, pastries, etc.
The products are organic and contain no artificial flavours, GMOs or preservatives.
