Lenersan Poortman

Lenersan Poortman is an importer, exporter and manufacturer of food items and animal feed and is based in the Netherlands. Lenersan Poortman initially started to operate as Lenersan & Co in 1803. Following a merger with Poortman in 1868, the company changed its name to Lenersan Poortman. 

In 2011, Lenersan Poortman was acquired by Group Depre. 

Lenersan Poortman operates its own manufacturing plant. 

Lenersan Poortman’s turnover is around €3.3 million and the company employs 24 people.

The company provides a number of products under the following categories:

• Savory Grocery: spices, pulses, grains, etc.
• Sweet Grocery: dried fruits, tea, coffee, etc. 

Lenersan Poortman has the following certifications: BRC, USDA Organic, KRAV, GMP+ and HS Certifiering. Furthermore, the firm operates its own quality department.

Concerning the manufacturing plant, the company contains no pesticides or chemical agents. Products also undergo tests against pests. 

Lenersan Poortman also manages its own warehouse where all products are kept in the appropriate conditions. Clients are delivered directly and the transportation is organised by the company. 

Lenersan Poortman imports products and raw materials directly from the country of origin.
