Whiskies Du Monde

Les Whiskies du Monde has been an importer and distributor of alcoholic beverages based in France since 1999. The business was founded by Alain Pontoizeau, a former sales manager for a Cognac House. Nowadays, Les Whiskies du Monde remains a family business managed by Alain Pontoizeau’s children. 

Furthermore, Les Whiskies du Monde has been distributing products to its clients which include cellar chains, wine merchants, duty-free stores, hotels, cafes, restaurants, etc. 

Les Whiskies du Monde has entered the international market which now accounts for 25% of its activity.

Les Whiskies du Monde achieves an annual turnover of €20 million and its team comprises over 40 employees. 60% of its activity involves whiskey. 

The company offers a variety of products in the drinks category including whiskey, rum, gin, cognac, etc. Les Whiskies du Monde distributes around 150 references from 50 brands. It is the exclusive distributor of many of these brands on the French market. 

Some of the brands provided are Escape, American Eagle, Paul John, Glencadam, Adnams, etc.

For 2020, Les Whiskies du Monde is interested in working with brands of spirits. 

Moreover, the firm has launched 2 private labels which are:

• Evade: a range of single malt whiskey
• Fondaudege: a brand of whiskey

Les Whiskies du Monde imports products from various countries including Japan, India, USA, Ireland, Taiwan, etc. At present, the firm works with 22 suppliers.
