Limedika, UAB is a Lithuanian pharmaceutical company founded in 1994 and headquartered in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a key player in pharmaceutical wholesale, Limedika operates a logistics center and warehouses that supply pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare institutions with a broad assortment of products.

The company's extensive product portfolio includes approximately 4000 pharmaceutical items and over 9000 medical supplies, encompassing pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, surgical products, rehabilitation equipment, herbs, pregnancy and baby items, veterinary medicines, animal care products, and cosmetics. Limedika represents more than 250 manufacturers, enabling a wide selection of medicines and related goods.

Limedika owns and operates pharmacy chains such as JSC Gintarinė vaistinė and JSC Norfos vaistinė, and cooperates with independent pharmacies and chains within Lithuania. Together, these networks hold about a 30% market share in the Lithuanian pharmaceutical retail sector. The company thus maintains a significant retail presence, with well over 100 selling points, including supermarkets associated with its pharmacy chains.

Limedika’s warehouses, totaling nearly 7,000 m², comply with EU hygienic and sanitary standards, supporting secure and effective storage of health-related products. Its logistics operations employ advanced automated systems, including the AutoPocket® pocket sorter system, which facilitates efficient batch picking, serial and lot number tracking, and supports multi-channel distribution models such as e-commerce and click & collect. This infrastructure ensures timely and reliable delivery to around 1,500 pharmacies and healthcare institutions.

Financially, Limedika reported sales revenue of approximately 301 million EUR in 2024, supported by a workforce of about 351 employees. As part of the NFG group, Limedika leverages modern equipment and IT services, including the MedInfo medication ordering and accounting platform provided free of charge to pharmacies, enhancing supply chain operations and customer service.

Limedika’s commitment to pharmaceutical distribution, combined with its own pharmacy network and strong logistics competence, positions it as a major partner for manufacturers and suppliers in the fast-moving consumer goods segments of food supplements, cosmetics, and health-related products within Lithuania.
