Limedika

Founded in 1994, Limedika is an importer and distributor of pharmaceutical products in the Lithuanian market. Its headquarters is based in Kaunas, Lithuania. The company’s controlling stake was acquired by PGF (Polska Grupa Farmaceutyczna), one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Poland. 

Concerning its distribution channels, the business distributes its products to more than 1,700 Lithuanian companies which include pharmacies, hospitals, polyclinics, e-pharmacies and other health institutions. Furthermore, the importer operates 2 e-commerce platforms as well. 

It is noteworthy that the company does not only distribute pharmaceutical products but also provides marketing services. 

In the financial year 2021, Limedika achieved a turnover of €213 million and currently employs 339 people. 

Moreover, the enterprise offers a rich portfolio which consists of over 4,000 names of medicines and more than 9,000 names of medical goods. There are about 40% medicines, 15% hygiene and cosmetics products, 14% food additives and supplements, 12% medical goods, 4% medicinal herbs, 4% bandages and plasters and 2.5% children’s products. 

Brands such as Philips Avent, Jamieson Natural Sources, Bioderma, Oliesen, Vichy, Avene, Golden Rose and many others are endorsed by the firm. Moreover, Limedika offers a range of natural and organic products as well. 

Limedika developed its own brands known as: 

• Ambio: A brand of food supplements for the whole family. 
• Ziede: A line dedicated to natural cosmetics products. 

Pertaining to its logistics solutions, Limedika operates warehouses which occupy an area of 6.967.85 m2 and has its fleet of vehicles to ensure deliveries.
