Founded in 2005, Apotheka Latvia, a subsidiary of the largest group of pharmaceutical companies in the Baltic States, Magnum which is an importer, wholesaler and distributor. Apotheka Latvia also runs an online store.
Nowadays, Apotheka Latvia operates 114 pharmacies spread all across Latvia such as Riga, Liepaja, Ventspils, Jelgava, Daugavpils and Rezekne. All products provided by the group can be found in shopping malls, airports and bus stations such as Riga International Airport, Riga International Bus Station, Shopping Center Spice, Entertainment Center Riga Plaza and many more.
In addition to this, Medicines are also manufactured as per its clients recommendations.
Among various services provided in its pharmacies, customers can measure their own blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol levels. In the case of hypertensive patients, they will receive the appropriate pharmaceutical care. Moreover, free facial skin tests are offered at all pharmacies to help customers find the appropriate cosmetics for their skin.
Apotheka Latvia has launched a loyalty card where clients can benefit from various discounts.
In order to provide paying facilities for its customers, Apotheka Latvia partnered with leading health insurance companies such as ERGO, BALTA, BALVA, BTA, Gjensidige and IF.
Clients such as retailers, medical institutions, social care institutions collaborate with Apotheka Latvia.
So far, Apotheka Latvia employs 542 people including 400 pharmacists and achieved a turnover of €50.8 million in 2020.
In the personal care category, supplements, skincare, OTC drugs, etc. are offered
European brands such as Avene, Babe, Eucerin and many others can be found in all the pharmacies. These brands are imported from France, Germany, Italy, etc.
Regarding its shipment facilities, Apotheka Latvia offers home deliveries by partnering with third party postage companies.
