Midsona Sweden

Midsona is a Sweden-based company which offers an extensive range of healthy and natural products including food, personal care and household products.

The business was previously known as Milderfart until 2010 when the shareholders decided to change the name to Midsona. Midsona has developed various brands throughout the years and has expanded in Spain, France, Germany and the Nordic market. 

Midsona achieved a turnover of € 279 million in 2018, indicating that its sales have grown by 26% compared to the previous year. It must be noted that 60% of Midsona’s sales are from organic products. Midsona employs 525 people. 

Midsona offers products in various categories including:

• Personal Care: supplements, etc.

• Household: cleaning products, washing products, etc. 

• Sweet Grocery: tea, coffee, infusions, etc.

• Frozen foods: desserts, ice cream, etc.

Midsona also offers dairy-free alternatives.

Midsona launched several brands such as (not limited to):

• Eskimo-3: a range of omega 3 supplements

• Floradix Blutsaft: a brand of supplements

• Ecover: a brand of washing and cleaning products

• Yogitea: a variety of tea, coffee and infusions

Midsona acquired Davert, a german company, in 2018 for a sum of € 48.5 million. Davert’s portfolio includes snacks, cereals, rice, pulses, etc.
